Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen und Lernprozesse auf dem Lernort Bauernhof

Abstract

Es ist von Bedeutung, Menschen zur Partizipation an der Gestaltung einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung weltweit zu befähigen und das nachhaltige Denken und Handeln im globalen Rahmen zu fördern. Dies kann durch die Begegnung mit außerschulischen Lernorten im Rahmen von handlungsorientierten Lernangeboten gefördert werden. Landwirtschaftliche Betriebe spielen als außerschulische Lernorte eine wichtige Rolle, da sie entscheidend für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung sind. Diese Arbeit legt ihren Fokus auf die Untersuchung von Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen und Lernprozessen auf der kognitiven und emotionalen Ebene und der Handlungsebene auf dem Lernort Bauernhof und auf deren Gestaltung. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine Fallstudie auf dem Lernort Bauernhof - einem landwirtschaftlichen Haupterwerbsbetrieb mit Milchvieh und Schweinemast - durchgeführt. Das untersuchte Lernangebot besteht aus einer Hoferkundung sowie einer schulischen Vor- und Nachbereitung. Es zielt darauf, dass die Schüler:innen am Beispiel der Milchproduktion einen Einblick in die Landwirtschaft am Beispiel der Milchproduktion erhalten. In der empirischen Studie wurde untersucht, welche Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen am Lernort ablaufen und wie dabei gelernt wird. Es wurden mehrere Erkundungen von Schüler:innen der fünften und sechsten Klasse begleitet. Kern der empirischen Studie bildet eine teilnehmende Beobachtung. Diese Methode erlaubt es, die Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen und Verarbeitungsprozesse in actu zu erheben. Ergänzend kam eine schriftliche Befragung zum Einsatz. Die Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen wurden mit einer zusammenfassenden Inhaltsanalyse ausgewertet. Theoriebasiert wurde zudem ein Kategoriensystem entwickelt, um die kognitiven Strukturen, die emotionalen Konzepte und die Handlungskonzepte zu rekonstruieren. Die theoretischen Erkenntnisse bilden den Ausgangspunkt einer Optimierung des untersuchten Lernangebots. Im Sinne des „Design-Based Research“-Ansatzes wird die Analyse von Lernprozessen mit der Gestaltung von Lernangeboten verknüpft. Um die Gestaltung von Lernangeboten zur Gewinnung von Erkenntnissen und die Erkenntnisse für die Gestaltung zu nutzen, wird ein Zyklus von Phasen der Gestaltung, Erhebung, Auswertung und Theoriebildung iterativ durchlaufen. Der Lernort und das Lernangebot wurden anhand von Kriterien charakterisiert, um Optimierungsbedarfe identifizieren und Optimierungsansätze entwickeln zu können und darauf aufbauend das Lernangebot weiterzuentwickeln. Auf Basis der Zyklen konnten typische Sequenzen von Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen, inneren Verarbeitungsprozessen und Lernprozessen beschrieben und der Aufbau von kognitiven Strukturen, emotionalen Konzepten und Handlungskonzepten konnte rekonstruiert werden. Zudem war es möglich, besondere Charakteristika der Angebots-Nutzungs-Interaktionen und Lernprozesse am Lernort Bauernhof herauszuarbeiten. Aufbauend auf den Erkenntnissen wurden Gestaltungselemente und -empfehlungen zur Gestaltung von Lernangeboten entwickelt.It is a vital need to enable persons all over the world to participate in sustainable development and to support sustainable thinking and acting in the framework of a global partnership. These concepts can be supported by an encounter in out-of-school learning locations within the framework of activity-oriented learning opportunities. Agricultural enterprises play a decisive role as learning locations, as they are important for sustainable development. The present study focuses on analyzing interactions of utilization-of-learning-opportunities and learning processes on a cognitive and emotional level and on the level of action on the learning location "farm", as well as on their design. For this reason, a case study was carried out on the learning location - a dairy and pig farm. The learning opportunity studied consists of an exploration of the farm combined with pre- and post-processing at school. It aims at providing pupils with an insight into the agriculture via the example of milk production. It was investigated, which interactions of utilization-of-learning take place at the learning location and how learning occurs in this context. In the empiric study, several observations carried out by pupils of German grade level 5 and 6 were accompanied. The main part of the empiric study was a participant observation. This method enables the collection of the interactions of utilization-of-learning-opportunities and of processing operations in actu. As a supplement, a written survey was used. The interactions of utilization-of-learning-opportunies were evaluated by means of a content analysis. In addition, a theory-based system of categories was developed in order to reconstruct cognitive structures, emotional concepts and concepts of action. The theoretical findings were the starting point of an optimization of the learning opportunities studied. On the basis of the “Design-Based-Research” approach, the analysis of learning processes was interlinked with the design of learning opportunities. In order to use the design of learning opportunities to gain scientific knowledge and to use scientific knowledge for the design, a cycle of design, collection, evaluation and theory formation phases was undergone. The learning location and the learning opportunity were characterized on the basis of criteria in order to identify optimization needs and to develop optimization approaches followed by further development of the learning opportunity on this basis. On the ground of the cycles, typical sequences of interactions of utilization-of-learning-opportunities and the design of internal processing operations, cognitive structures, emotional concepts and concepts of action could be reconstructed. In addition, it was possible to identify special characteristics of the interactions of utilization-of-learning opportunities and the learning processes in the encounter with the farm. Based on the findings, design elements and recommendations for the design of learning opportunities were developed.
